AFIDA serves as the primary interface between Africa’s fertilizer industry and policymakers at national, regional, and continental levels. We engage with governments, the African Union, Regional Economic Communities (RECs), and international development partners to ensure that fertilizer policies reflect industry realities, support sustainable agriculture, and promote food security.
Africa’s fertilizer private sector is dynamic, innovative, and essential to the continent’s agricultural transformation—yet its contributions often go unrecognized.
